Read the Charlie Brooker extract at least three times over five minutes. Highlight and label at least seven examples of language devices that Brooker has used. Begin to explore why Brooker has used these devices (5 minutes). What Next – answer the following exam question: How does Charlie feel about the iPad? How does his use of language reflect his feelings about the iPad? (8 marks). Remember: 1 mark = 1.5 minutes, so this should take you 12 minutes |
